Life’s journey often presents us with moments that call for transformation. These moments hold within them the seeds for profound growth—if we allow ourselves the space to pause, reflect, and tend to what matters most.
Recently, I’ve been living in one such moment.
A family member needs care, and as much as I long to continue weaving our stories of spiritual alchemy, creativity, and culinary arts, I know that now is the time to shift my energy toward caregiving. This time calls for me to focus on nurturing my loved one—and myself.
This pause feels like the calcinatio stage of alchemy. Funnily enough, my last post about spiritual alchemy was an introduction to calcinatio. How’s that for synchronicity and prophecy? Calcinatio is the stage where everything is burned down to the essence (as anyone who has spent two days in the ER waiting for a hospital room knows). It’s a time for purification and to honor the flame that keeps us warm and whole.
Tending the Sacred
I am deeply grateful for this community of explorers, mystics, and seekers. Over the past months, we’ve journeyed together, discovering new ways to spark our creativity and deepen our spiritual connection. Your presence here has been a gift, and your understanding during this time means more than I can say.
As I take this brief pause, I invite you to reflect on your moments of transformation. Are there areas of your life asking for attention, care, or renewal? The cycles of life remind us that sometimes we must go inward, rest, and gather strength for the next phase of our journey. I hope to return to this newsletter after Thanksgiving.

A Community of Support
I want to reassure you that this is not goodbye—only a brief pause. I will return with new stories, insights, and alchemical lessons that I’m sure this experience will reveal. Our journey together is far from over; we’re simply entering a new phase that will deepen our connection to life’s mysteries.
Until then, may you find your stillness, transformation, and renewal moments. I’m grateful for your understanding, and I look forward to continuing our alchemical adventures when the time comes.
With deep appreciation and love,
Melissa
