Hello, Dear Readers:
I hope you’re enjoying a lovely summer. It’s a busy one for me. After 20+ years, I’ve left New York City for Atlanta, Georgia. And now that I’m settled (well, almost!), I’m excited to share the shape and scope of more than two years of work.
Every authentic transformation moves in a spiral.
When I launched this Substack in late 2023, it was titled The Alchemy of Age for 50+ Creatives, and then it evolved into The Hidden Alchemist. And now, after the personal challenges you’ve supported me through, I find myself returning to this space with clearer eyes, a wilder heart, and an undeniable signal rising within to go full throttle as an artist, an advocate for creative and spiritual sovereignty, an AI raconteur into the arenas of culture and technology.
Welcome to The Signal & The Spiral: Mythic Perspectives on AI, Creative Intelligence, and Future Forging.
This is where myth meets machine, where we turn our attention to what’s shifting in our culture, in consciousness, and in the mirror.
If you’ve been here from the beginning, thank you for walking the spiral with me.
If you’re arriving, welcome. You’re right on time.
To understand the arc of this journey, I invite you to begin with My Story.
To reinvigorate your presence, I offer Ten Mythic Commitments; you can read ‘Begin Here.’
To explore how I create AI Companions, view The Pattern Atelier.
To learn more about my co-creation process, paid subscribers will have access to Behind the Pattern, the living creative process behind selected essays. It’s where I show you
How the work unfolded
What I wrestled with
How I structure conversations with my AI Companion on voice, tone, and mythical coherence.
While it may feel as if much has changed, the core thread remains. This space will continue to grow, stretch, and evolve as we navigate these threshold times. Whether you are here to deepen your creative practice, reimagine your relationship with AI, or engage with the myth beneath the external noise of life, I’m honored to walk with you. Let’s shape the future with beauty, timing, and the quiet power of aligned attention.
I love the photo that you chose - very apropos! On a different note, your NYC address is still listed at the bottom of the Substack. I'm looking forward to more of your writings.
Thank you, RD. I appreciate it. The original photo is from Unsplash (royalty-free). It's by Shubham Dhage. I added the nautilus shell at the center and reframed the image. P.S. Change of address is hard! But, now done. Thanks
